Emily F. Arsenault, MD, FAAD
Founder / Dermatologist / Innovator
Dr. Emily Arsenault was born in Miami, Florida She was accepted to medical school before graduating high school, gaining acceptance to the prestigious Honors Program in Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
After achieving her doctorate at this rigorous program, Dr. Emily completed her medical internship at the Roger Williams Medical Program in Providence, Rhode Island. She then completed her training in Dermatology at Boston University.
Dr. Emily founded Arsenault Dermatology in 2003, creating a new standard of healthcare. Accepting insurance, treating children and especially performing primary preventative exams with dermoscopy were unheard of locally at the time.
Arsenault Dermatology continues Dr. Emily's vision of innovation through ongoing development of new programs and technologies, as well as pursuing an unwavering commitment to quality patient care.
Dana Ellis, MD, FAAD
Board Certified Dermatologist
Arsenault Dermatology is thrilled to present Dr. Dana Ellis. Dr. Ellis continues to blow us away with her wonderful charm, intelligence and heart. She represents the pinnacle of dermatologic training and skill. We are incredibly fortunate Dr. Ellis joined our already outstanding clinical team.
Dr. Ellis graduated first in her class at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2012 and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. Dr. Ellis received advanced training in pediatric dermatology, psoriasis and autoimmune/connective tissue diseases. She's also an expert in conditions in skin of color and cosmetics.
When asked why she loves being a dermatologist, Dr. Ellis says “Dermatology appeals to me because it’s visual. For most diagnosis . . . all we need is our eyes, hands and mind. The skin is a window into our internal health!”
In addition to being a world-class dermatologist, Dr. Ellis is also a former Olympic athlete. She competed in the 2004 Athens Olympics in Women's Pole Vault. Her Olympic focus and commitment to excellence is the perfect match to our founding principles.

Ashley Kessler, DO, MS
Board Eligible Dermatologist
Arsenault Dermatology is proud to welcome Dr. Ashley Kessler to our stellar team of providers. With her vast experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology and an unwavering dedication to delivering an exceptional patient experience, Dr. Kessler is a wonderful addition to our practice.
Born and raised in Sarasota, Dr. Kessler most recently served as Chief Resident at a dermatology practice in Roswell, Georgia, before returning to her hometown. She has extensive training in complex surgical techniques, including Mohs surgery.
Dr. Kessler received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Medical Science degrees from the University of Florida. She then attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, earning the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
She enjoys giving back to the local community and has extensive volunteering experience, including mentoring incoming medical students at LECOM. Dr. Kessler is a current member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Association.
Her hobbies include yoga, weightlifting, running, traveling and cheering on Gators football!
Jennifer Brammeier, DO, FAAD
Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon
Arsenault Dermatology is excited to welcome Dr. Jennifer Brammeier to our team. We instantly recognized not only her impeccable skills as a surgeon and clinician, but also her genuine love and dedication to her patients. We are thrilled for the opportunity to work with someone of Dr. Brammeier's stature.
Dr. Brammeier graduated from the esteemed Western University of Health Sciences in California, earning her medical degree with special recognition in research. She then completed her dermatology training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where she served as Chief Resident.
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Brammeier was continually honored with numerous academic awards and scholarships. She was invited regularly to speak at national events, and her research expanded the industry's knowledge-base and is published in dermatology's most respected journals.
After residency, Dr. Brammeier recognized her love of Mohs surgery and secured a fellowship position at the coveted LECOM Larkin Hospital program in Miami. Her Florida-based Mohs training is one of the best in the country and gave her special insights into the treatment of Floridians. We see this as a huge advantage for our patients.
Everyone at Arsenault Dermatology is delighted Dr. Brammeier joined our team. Her tremendous talent and genuinely caring approach is exactly the experience our Mohs patients deserve.
Brian Bishop, MD, MPH, FAAD
Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon
Arsenault Dermatology is proud to welcome Dr. Brian Bishop to our team. Dr. Bishop immediately impressed us with his undeniable excellence, passion for Mohs surgery and his genuine charm. He is an outstanding surgeon with impressive training. More importantly, Dr. Bishop is a warm and caring human being who immediately earns the trust of his patients.
Earning his medical degree from the University of Miami (graduating with Research Distinction), Dr. Bishop successfully completed his dermatology training at the prestigious Emory University program, serving as Chief Resident. Over his career, Dr. Bishop performed research, was awarded grants, authored numerous academic papers and is a speaker at national conventions.
Recognizing his passion for Mohs surgery, Dr. Bishop earned the coveted one-year fellowship training under the direction of Dr. Brett Coldiron. Dr. Coldiron is a former president of both the American Academy of Dermatology as well as the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Coldiron is regarded as one of the nation's leading experts in Mohs surgery, and Dr. Bishop's training is unparalleled.
We are thrilled to welcome a world-class dermatologist and surgeon to our outstanding team. We know our Mohs patients will greatly enjoy working with Dr. Bishop.
Melissa Beachy, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Melissa is committed to offering every patient the highest standard of care in dermatology. Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She received a Masters of Medical Science Degree as a Physician Assistant from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida, where she was awarded the Dean’s Award for graduating at the top of her class.
Since becoming a Physician Assistant, Melissa has worked exclusively in dermatology, caring for patients with compassion and commitment to each individual’s skin care and cosmetic needs. Melissa is trained in medical dermatology for patients of all ages.
Melissa is also one of Arsenault Dermatology's cosmetic specialists.  She specializes in cosmetic procedures including Botox and dermal fillers.
Graham Chriss, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Arsenault Dermatology is proud to welcome Graham to our team of outstanding providers. Graham was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, earning a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. He went on to complete his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida.
Since completing his training, Graham has worked solely in dermatology. He has advanced training in medical and surgical dermatology, pediatric medicine and cosmetic dermatology. Graham is singularly focused on the early detection and treatment of skin cancers.
Graham has a fun and compassionate approach to healthcare, and his patients love him for it. His goal is for his patients to not only understand their diagnosis, but more importantly, to leave feeling confident they received the best care. Patients immediately connect with Graham and appreciate his highly personalized treatment plans.
While dermatology is his passion, Graham also enjoys our beautiful Florida lifestyle, including outdoor adventures, music, concerts, cooking and exploring our booming culinary scene.
Zoey Francis, RN, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Arsenault Dermatology is delighted to welcome Zoey to our team of Providers. Before joining us, she spent several years practicing in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she treated a variety of medical, surgical, and aesthetic Dermatology patients.
Zoey completed her undergraduate education at the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Petersburg College. She went on to earn her Masters of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies at the esteemed Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated with highest honors.
Growing up with the in the Tampa Bay area, Zoey loves the sunny, warm weather that allows her to enjoy the outdoors all year long. Her hobbies include hiking, running, traveling, cooking vegan meals and reading. She is most inspired to be a Physician Assistant for the privilege of helping people feel and look their best.
Rachel Hinds, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Arsenault Dermatology proudly welcomes Rachel to our team. Rachel is a Florida dermatology-experienced provider, focusing on general dermatology, cosmetics and surgical dermatology. Her work in the Venice and North Port areas provided her with a wealth of experience, including higher level surgical skills working as a first assist for Mohs Surgery.
Rachel grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University. She then went onto complete her Master of Physician Assistant studies at South University in Tampa.
Rachel’s treatment philosophy is to enthusiastically partner with patients to provide a wonderful and effective experience. It is in her nature to care for others and becoming a Dermatology Physician Assistant has always been her passion. Rachel is skilled in treating a wide range of skin conditions, and is also an accomplished surgeon, providing terrific surgical outcomes for patients diagnosed with skin cancer.
Rachel enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, traveling and crafting in her free time. She and her firefighter husband are excited to build a new life in our growing community.
Kristin Jochum, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Kristin comes to Arsenault Dermatology, highly educated, having earned both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Sports Medicine, before enrolling in the renowned Physician Assistant Training Program at the University of Florida.
At Arsenault Dermatology, Kristin earned a reputation for excellence in both her expertise in primary preventative care and as a prolific surgeon. She specializes in advanced skin cancer screenings and is an expert in dermoscopy and precision mole mapping. Both techniques used together are a powerful tool in identifying skin cancers in their earliest (and most treatable) state.
Kristin is also one of our top surgeons. Patients love her compassionate approach and love for dermatology. Kristin is a member of both the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Rebecca Mahne, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Rebecca is a board-certified physician assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the prestigious Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Arsenault Dermatology is fortunate to have recruited such a bright and compassionate provider like Rebecca on our team. Rebecca is able to deliver a best-in-class experience to her patients because she takes a collaborative approach and really listens.
Rebecca is a primary prevention specialist, creating detailed mole maps using dermoscopy, a life-saving technique designed to find skin cancers in their earliest, and most treatable, state. She’s wonderful with adults and children alike, focused on education and your overall well-being.
Laura Marano, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Arsenault Dermatology is fortunate to have Laura on our team. She completed both her undergraduate and Masters level education at the University of Florida, attending the prestigious Physician Assistant Training Program.
Since achieving her degrees, Laura worked first at the University of Florida Shands Hospital as part of the emergency team. She then identified her love for dermatology and has worked exclusively in the field since that time.
Laura’s love for dermatology is abundantly clear through her wonderfully compassionate style and comprehensive skin cancer screening exams. Laura uses a combination of precision mole mapping and dermoscopy, a specialized examination technique. This approach allows her to find potentially life-threatening skin cancers in their earliest, most treatable, state.
Bryant Maxwell, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Bryant is a wonderful clinician and a fantastic addition to the Arsenault team. Bryant earned his Bachelors in Biology from the University of Central Florida, with noted honors. He then received his Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the renown Nova Southeastern University, where he also graduated with high honors.
Bryant is undeniably passionate about both clinical and surgical dermatology. He has worked solely as a Florida-based dermatology provider since attaining his degree and license. Bryant is not only an accomplished surgeon (utilizing advanced surgical techniques and closures), but is also an intuitive clinician. His patients love his warm and genuine approach to providing healthcare.

Meredith Miller, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Meredith is one of the cornerstones of Arsenault Dermatology and we’re fortunate to have her on our team for so many years. She’s an academic heavyweight, earning the prestigious Presidential Honors Scholar Award and receiving special distinction as the Outstanding Graduate in Biological Sciences at Carson Newman College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
After completing the renowned Physician Assistant Training Program at the University of Florida, Meredith has worked exclusively in the field of dermatology. She is an adept diagnostician with over 20 years’ experience in both adult and pediatric dermatology.
Meredith is a primary prevention specialist with advanced training in dermoscopy, a life-saving technique which allows her to detect skin cancers in their earliest, and most treatable, state.
Kaitlin Vaughn, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
We are pleased to welcome Kaitlin to the Arsenault team. Kaitlin recently moved to Lakewood Ranch and is enjoying getting to know our amazing community. A Kansas native, she completed her undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. Kaitlin then received her Masters of Physician Assistant at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.
Kaitlin is dedicated to educating patients on the importance of regular full body scans for preventative dermatological care. She is adept at performing surgical excisions and utilizing lifesaving technologies to detect skin cancers in their earliest stage, when they are most treatable.
Her passion for the overall wellness of her community is evident through her volunteer experience with such programs as the American Academy of Dermatology SPOTme Skin Cancer Screening Program.
Nicholas Wolhaupter, PA-C

Nicholas (”Nick”) Wolhaupter earned both his Bachelor of Science as well as his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Nick is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a board-certified physician assistant.
Since graduating, Nick has worked exclusively in dermatology, earning his reputation as a gifted clinician and surgeon. He is especially skilled in primary preventative care, performing dermoscopy and precise mole mappings to detect skin cancers in their earliest, and most treatable, stage.
More than this, Nick loves treating patients of all ages. He has a warm, caring presence that puts both children and parents at ease. Nick’s passion for patient care is unmatched, and we are excited he joined our team of exceptional providers.
Olivia Wrobel, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Olivia joins the Arsenault team as an experienced provider in Florida dermatology. Her clinical work in Sarasota provided her with vast experience in general dermatology, cosmetics and surgical dermatology, including excisions and assisting with Mohs procedures. She is also a certified and licensed EMT.
She grew up in Lake Worth, Florida. Graduating Cum Laude from the University of Florida, Olivia earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance, with a major in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. While attending the University of Florida, Olivia worked in the prestigious Integrative Cardiovascular and Physiology Research Laboratory. This experience sparked her interest in a career of preventative care medicine. Olivia earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Tampa.
Olivia is an active member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her hobbies include traveling and hiking, and she enjoys spending time outdoors and welcoming new adventures.
